ELECTRICAL INTERIOR INSTALLATION CONTROL AND REPORTING
The control of the electrical installation is important in terms of detecting the problematic or incomplete installation that may pose a danger in the dynamic load structure. In this way, possible accidents and fires will be prevented. The determinations to be made and the measures to be taken in line with the report will provide the following advantages in the facilities where the control is carried out:
- Employee safety will be established and injuries and loss of life due to electrical accidents will be prevented.
- Weak points of the installation will be identified and reported, and faults arising from the electrical installation that may cause the service or production activities of the plant to cease in the future will be prevented. Malfunctions that may slow down or stop commercial activities due to the failure to carry out periodic controls will cause loss of raw materials due to interruption of service, production or production, and will cause financial losses that cannot be compared with the controls to be made.
- Electrical accidents that may occur may cause great material damages that cannot be obtained within the facility. These accidents can have effects such as fire, explosion. In addition, an extremely cheap installation component, which is not suitable for use in accordance with the standards or plant requirements, may cause damage to an expensive equipment integrated into the installation. Control of the electrical installation will prevent such great material damages.
In Which Periods Should Electrical Installation Control and Electrical Installation Conformity Certificate Measurements Be Made?
All energy rooms, meters, distribution panels, branches, cable shafts, generators, ups, motors, machinery and equipment and electrical connections, elevator electrical installation, lighting installation, weak current installation, starting from the low voltage side of the transformer, if any, within the facility, under the control of the electrical installation, Switches, sockets and junction boxes, compensation systems and grounding facility are checked for compliance with current projects and standards, measurements are made. It is determined and reported whether there is appropriate sizing and protection for all kinds of equipment and machinery in the electrical installation. In addition to these, thermal camera examinations of the panel, cables and cable connections are made to determine whether there is an overload or unbalanced load.
Control of electrical indoor installations and electrical installation conformity certificate in all facilities and businesses have been made compulsory within the scope of the Regulation on Health and Safety Conditions in the Use of Work Equipment, which was published in the Official Gazette dated 25.04.2013 and numbered 28628. Within the scope of the Regulation on Health and Safety Measures to be Taken in Workplace Buildings and Attachments, which was published in the Official Gazette dated 17.07.2013 and numbered 28710, periodic inspection of the electrical installation and records should be kept. (Annex-1 Minimum Health and Safety Conditions to be Applied in Workplace Buildings and Attachments) Birci Energy is Authorized to Perform Electrical Installation Compliance Measurements with its Authorized Engineers.
