COMPENSATION

The phase difference between current and voltage caused by inductive and capacitive loads in the system causes losses. When these losses are eliminated and the phase difference is reduced to zero, the circuit elements that make up the system will also be reduced, reducing the cost. In the enterprises, the compensation system is mandatory for the contract power after 9 kW. A penalty is applied when the contract power exceeds the inductive limit of 33% between 9 kW and 29.9 kW, and the capacitive limit of 20%. Again, a penalty is applied when the contract power exceeds 30 kW, 20% inductive limit and 15% capacitive limit, gradually in enterprises.
