Protection functions are provided by multifunctional relays. For this, the relays monitor the parameters such as current, voltage, frequency, power, resistance, and monitor the abnormal situations that may occur in the system, and when the values defined by the user are exceeded, it sends a command to the cutting element and clears the system from faults. When this system is configured correctly, it aims to prevent healthy areas from being affected by the failure and being de-energized.
